"The task of the modern educator is not to cut down jungles, but to irrigate deserts."

I’m Mrs. Amy Martin and I started working in the Diocese of Wichita in 2005. Since then, I have taught many grades- kindergarten through middle school. I worked at the parish level as a Director of Religious Education and also at the downtown office of faith formation as a coordinator for parishes. My degrees are in communication, elementary education, and theology. I love our Catholic faith and teaching at Resurrection! My husband Matt and I are members of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton parish and have been married 27 years. We have three daughters. Our oldest, Kate, is a teacher at St. Margaret Mary Catholic School, Riley is a senior and a cheerleader at Wichita State University; she also works as a para in our preschool! Brooke is a freshman at Rogers State University in Claremore, Oklahoma. I love traveling, reading great books, good conversation, and spending time with family and friends.

The Learning Strategies Room is the place your student can come if they need some extra help on an assignment or concept. All students are unique individuals and some have specific learning needs that we work to accommodate.

Students might also come to the Learning Strategies room to work on an extra project if they need a challenge, or they might come in for a quiet place to take a test or quiz. We have amazing paraprofessionals on staff that work with students in the LS room or in the classrooms. Our goal is to help every student succeed and feel supported.
