Where in the World is the Resurrection Raven?
Something new is soaring into Resurrection this summer, and we can’t wait!
We are excited to introduce our brand-new school mascot: the Resurrection Raven! This fall, students will meet the Raven in a whole new way… in the form of a full mascot costume that will appear at sports events and special events throughout the year.
But before the Raven officially arrives at Resurrection, it’s going to enjoy the summer break with you all!
Families are invited to pick up or print a small Raven cutout and take it on their summer adventures. Snap photos with the Raven wherever you go—vacation destinations, local outings, or even just around town. Then email your photos (and location, plus a fun caption if you’d like!) to: . Throughout the summer, we’ll share new sightings on social media and ask our parish and school family: “Where in the World is the Resurrection Raven?” Join in the fun by guessing locations in the comments!
Help Name the Raven
We’re also looking for the perfect name! Families and students are invited to submit mascot name ideas throughout the summer. We might even share some of the creative submissions along the way as the Raven makes its travels.
The Big Reveal
All summer long, the Raven will journey, gather memories, and earn its wings. Then, at the first school assembly of the year, the mystery will come to an end in a big reveal, and the Resurrection Raven will appear in full costume, ready to become an official part of our school spirit!
