All parishioners, especially parents of RCS students, are encouraged to help with the many volunteer opportunities available at the school. Help in the library, the classroom, the lunchroom, watch the kids at recess, help with art projects or a musical production, assist in the office, be part of the Parents & Teachers Organization (PTO), coach a sports team, help with the Scholar’s or Religion bowls, and the list goes on. This annual fun-filled night is our school’s primary fundraiser. The auction helps support the school’s academic and extracurricular programs as well as general school improvements that fall outside our regular school budget. Volunteers are needed for decorating, procurement, food and drink coordination, data entry, marketing and media, event set up and clean up, raffle coordination, donation coordination, technology projects, and much more. These volunteers organize and coach Resurrection Middle School sports in the Catholic Schools Activity League (CSAL). CSAL sports are cross country, football, volleyball, basketball, track, and cheerleading. No experience is required except a willingness to see the middle school youth of Resurrections Catholic School develop and grow through athletic activities.
