Each year, from April through October, a group of volunteers is responsible for mowing all parish property. Each volunteer must be at least 18 years of age or older and be able to operate a zero turn or push lawn mower a string trimmer and blower. Groups of three to five volunteers are scheduled every two weeks and are responsible to mow and trim all parish property during their assigned two weeks. It usually requires about 2 hours per week (depending on rainfall) and volunteers are assigned one two week period per year. Your help in keeping the parish property maintained is greatly appreciated.
