A prayerful ministry that stitches lap-size quilted blankets to give to those with a critical illness or special intentions. Parishioners are encouraged to pick up a blessed blankets when in need of reassuring warmth. Blankets are a variety of quilted patterns with either cotton or flannel backing. The construction process allows members to work at home while praying and meditating during production. Skills required include both sewing and non-sewing skills. Members communicate via text or email and may choose to meet periodically to pray and work on finishing blankets before each item is blessed. Materials and batting are mostly supplied by parish or donations. Contact Leadership to make fabric donations.
