Congregational Song is the primary song of the Liturgy, and all are encouraged to take part in the acclamations, responses, psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Choirs sing with and support the congregational song, sing verses and acclamations in dialogue with the congregation, and enrich the Mass with harmony or special Choral music.
- Adult Choir - high school age and above, meets weekly September through May, and sings for either the 8:30 am or 11:00 am Sunday Mass and for special seasonal liturgies.
- Children’s Choir - open to parish children grades 4 and up. The choir year includes a winter and spring session, with the choir singing at Christmas, Easter, and a variety of other seasonal liturgies and services.
- Cantors sing with the congregation’s song, and, when no choir is present, lead and proclaim the Responsorial Psalm and the Gospel Acclamation. By audition.
- Organists and Instrumentalists lead the singing of the congregation and accompany the choir or cantor. The organ and other instruments add variety to the worship experience. Instruments play alone before Mass, during the Preparation of the Gifts, or a recessional or postlude. By audition
